How does the Nodeware integration work

SecurityStudio is pleased to offer our customers a direct integration with Nodeware.

Nodeware ensures the Current Assessment is truly "current" by providing continuous vulnerability scanning. Reduce time-consuming, repetitive work for your team, and gain instant visibility through the Nodeware integration.

How it works

Once Nodeware is deployed, continuous results will begin to populate your S2Org account, affecting your Current Assessment. Results update daily so check back in frequently.

What it looks like

Nodeware results will populate the scan window exactly like other scan types (Nessus, Qualys, Nexpose, etc.).

Nodeware is unique in that it will display the total number of hosts detected versus what is being monitored. This is an opportunity to expand the scope of the scan to cover more assets. Ideally, all assets would be monitored but this is not always the case. You can purchase more asset blocks by contacting nodeware@securitystudio.com.

Unlike our other scan types that rely on file uploads, Nodeware will automatically update daily. To manually update results, click > Refresh.

Enumeration details for both internal and external scans can be found in the Reports tab under Reports By Phase.

How to get started

Contact nodeware@securitystudio.com for more information or to purchase a Nodeware subscription. Once Nodeware is deployed, send us your API Key and Customer ID. It's that easy.

API Key

If you purchased Nodeware through a partner, the partner will need to provide us their API Key.

Customer ID

If you purchased Nodeware through a partner, the partner will need to provide us the Customer ID.

.

Then go into your S2Org account and select "Nodeware integration" as the scan method for both internal and external scans.
