Supplier Guide: Editing Orders

When can orders be edited?

As orders move through the different statuses, their editability changes. The table below shows what can and cannot be edited when an order is in each status.

*Items & Prices, Discounts, Delivery charges and Payment method are all locked in even when an order is in this status if either:

  • The customer has paid by card on checkout

  • A proforma invoice has been issued

  • Paid with Sellar Credit

Editing Items, Price and Discounts

These can be edited when an order is requested or accepted. Where the Customer hasn't paid by card at checkout or Sellar Credit.

  1. Find the order in Orders List (Sales > Orders in the left bar) and click to open it

  2. Use the edit button on the Order Summary to change the order lines to an editable state

  3. Use the Add Item button to add additional Products to the order.

  4. Use the Edit icon next to each order line to change prices, discounts and quantities. You are able to delete the line here too.

  5. Remember to hit Done to save all your changes to the order

Editing Delivery Type and Address

These can only be edited before an order is marked as dispatched.

  1. Find the order in Orders List (Sales > Orders in the left bar) and click to open it

  2. Use the edit button on the Delivery section to change the section to an editable state

  3. Change the value in the Fulfilment Type dropdown to the new Delivery Type for the order

  4. Change any of the Delivery Address information as needed

  5. Remember to hit Update to save all your changes to the order

Editing Delivery Charges

These can only be edited before an order is marked as dispatched and hasn't been paid by Card or Sellar Credit.

  1. Find the order in Orders List (Sales > Orders in the left bar) and click to open it

  2. Use the edit button on the Order Summary to change the order lines to an editable state

  3. Use the edit icon next to the Delivery value to change and update the price

  4. Remember to hit Done to save all your changes to the order

Editing Dispatch and Delivery Date

These can only be edited before an order is marked as dispatched.

  1. Find the order in Orders List (Sales > Orders in the left bar) and click to open it

  2. Click the three dots at the top left of the order and choose Edit Order Details

  3. Edit the value in the Estimated delivery date field by typing or using the date picker

  4. Edit the value in the Dispatch date field by typing or using the date picker

  5. Remember to scroll to the bottom and hit MODIFY to save all your changes to the order
