Adding and updating products

You can add or update information about a product such as its price and variants that it’s packaged into from the Product List page in your Sellar dashboard.

💡 Products are broken down into Product Items. For example, if you have a Sour Beer called Berry Sour, the individual formats Berry Sour is packaged into would be the Product Items. For example, 24x440ml cans and 30L Kegstar Kegs.

Add a new Product

  1. Go to your Product List under the Inventory tab in your sidebar

  2. Click + New to create a new product

  3. Enter the name of the product

  4. Add product details and images

  5. Click Create

You can preview your new product by going to Storefront > Preview in your sidebar.

Add a new Product Item to an existing Product

  1. Go to your Product List under the Inventory tab in your sidebar

  2. Click on the product that you want to add a new product item to

  3. Click + Item

  4. Choose the container type and then the other product details and click Next.

  5. Fill in your stock, and pricing for your different Price Tiers or skip for now.

You can preview your new product by going to Storefront > Preview in your sidebar

Add a pump clip

Pump clips or keg badges can be added to your products so that customers can let you know when they want one or need a replacement. You can make these publicly available or only available for you to add to your customer’s draft orders as and when you need to.

  1. Go to your Product List under the Inventory tab in your sidebar

  2. Click on the product that you want to add a pump clip for

  3. Click + Badge

  4. Choose from the list of badge types

Editing a product

After you’ve created a product or product item, you can edit them to change the descriptions, images or any other product details.

Saved changes take effect immediately in your trade store.

Preview a product

You can see how your products by going to Storefront > Preview from your sidebar. Click a product to open the full product information.
