To use GPT 4 for your AI roleplays, connect your Open AI Key in Setting.
How to get an OpenAI API Key
Log into your OpenAI account -> https://openai.com/
Choose "API" page
3. Navigate to the API keys section
4. If you already created your key, you can copy the existing key, or create a new one.
If creating a new key:
Create a key
Add key name
Select "All" for permissions
Click "Create secret key"
2. Save your API key
Next, you will see your secret key that has been generated. Make sure to copy your secret key to add it to SellMeThisPen.
It's very important that you copy this key and save it somewhere secure, as you won't be able to retrieve it again for security reasons. You'll need this key to authenticate your applications with OpenAI's services.
3. Set up billing
OpenAI charges for use of its API on a usage basis, so, if you haven't already set up a payment method for billing, you'll need to do so. Otherwise, the API Key you just created won't work.
To set up billing, click Settings -> Billing -> Payment methods -> Add payment method.
*Optional - Set usage limits
You can set usage limits so you can control how much you spend each month on the API.
While in Settings, click Limits, scroll to Usage limits and set up your limits.
How to add your OpenAI key on SellMeThisPen
Go to the Setting section on your SellMeThisPen dashboard
Scroll to the "AI role-play settings" section
Paste your OpenAI key
Done!
Now you'll be able to select GPT 4 for your roleplays! 🤩
