Overview

Conditional logic allows you to hide or show specific questions in a custom intake based on how the respondent answers earlier questions. This ensures that clients or prospects only see fields that are relevant to their needs, helping you collect more targeted information.

Adding Conditional Logic

  1. Open Your Custom Intake

    1. Go to Custom Intakes and select the intake you want to edit.

    2. For example, if you have a commercial insurance quote intake, open it for editing

  2. Add Questions

    1. Import or create any relevant questions for the coverage you offer (e.g., General Liability, Property, Auto).

    2. If needed, refer to the general tutorial on Custom Intakes

  3. Apply Logic to Individual Questions

    1. Locate a question you want to show based on the response to another question (e.g. only if a certain coverage type is selected

    2. Click the menu icon next to the question and select Conditional Logic

    3. In the condition setup, select the other question and response that you want to render this question

Applying Logic in Bulk

If you have multiple questions tied to the same response, you can apply conditional logic to all of them at once:

  1. Check Multiple Questions. Check the boxes next to each question that you want to add conditional logic to

  2. Use Bulk Actions

    1. Click Bulk Actions (this button appears once at least one question is selected).

    2. Select Conditional Logic and then choose the question and response that you want to render all of the selected questions
