The basics to completing your first submission

Sembley makes it easy to complete any combination of ACORDs and supplements at once via a single, client-friendly intake.

With Sembley you can:

  • Use our AI, enrichment tools and integrations to autofill your forms

  • Invite your clients to complete their intake, complete it yourself, or work on it together with them

  • Build custom embeddable intakes (similar JotForm) that autofill your forms for you

  • E-sign and send your completed forms directly to carriers

Insureds

Insureds Overview

Insureds are the companies or people that are applying for insurance in your Submissions. An Insured can have many Contacts.

Create an Insured

To create an Insured:

  • Navigate to the Insureds page in the sidebar

  • Click "New Insured"

In addition, when you create a Submission, you’ll have the option to either select or create the Insured associated with the Submission.

Contacts

Contacts Overview

Contacts in Sembley are the individuals that you collect information from about the insured. To view an Insured's Contacts, click on the Insureds tab in the sidebar. Click on any Insured and then click on the Insured's Contacts tab.

Create a Contact

To create a Contact:

  • Navigate to the Insureds page in the sidebar

  • Click on an Insured

  • Click on the Insured's Contacts tab

  • Click "New Contact"

Submissions

Submissions Overview

Submissions in Sembley are any insurance applications.

Create a Submission

You can create a Submission in two ways:

  • Through the Insureds page

    • Click on any Insured

    • Click New Submission

    • The Insured will automatically be associated with this Submission

  • Through the Submissions page

    • Click Submissions in the sidebar

    • Click “New Submission”

You’ll then add forms to your Submission. You can add as many forms as you want and Sembley will automatically build a single intake with all of the questions required to be answered by your Contacts for each form.
