What is a Presentation?

A Presentation is a collection of interactive "frames" that lets you guide others through your project, similar to slides in a slideshow.

When you enter "Presentation mode", all toolbars are hidden for a clean distraction-free view. However, you can still navigate, click on layers to inspect them, hover over markups, and open attachments for more details.

Permissions on Presentations

Anyone with access to a Workspace can view and present its presentations. However, only Workspace Managers and Workspace Members can manage and edit presentations (e.g., add frames, rename them, etc.), while Workspace Guests cannot. Learn more about Workspace permissions here.

Creating and editing Presentations

  1. Go to your Workspace
Navigate to the Workspace where you want to create a Presentation.

  2. Open the Presentations panel
Click "Presentations" in the top-right corner of the screen to launch the Presentations panel.

  3. Create a new Presentation
In the Presentations panel, click "Create new" at the bottom of the panel.

  4. Name your Presentation
Enter a name for your Presentation.

  5. Add frames to your Presentation

    • Set up the view you want to capture.

    • Click "+ Add frame" when ready. This will save your current settings, including:

      • Visible layers and markups

      • Camera angle

      • Scene settings (e.g., full markup labels or grid visibility)

      • Timeline period

  6. Edit or organise frames

    • Click on a frame title to rename it.

    • Click on the three-dot menu beside a frame to access the option to delete it.

    • Drag and drop frames using the six-dot drag handle to reorder them.

  7. Exit the Presentation.

    • Click "Back" at the top right corner of the panel to return to the list of presentations.

    • Click the Presentations (at the top of the screen) to close the panel (replicating how you opened it).

  8. Delete or rename a Presentation

    • When in the presentation list-view, click on the presentation three-dot menu to access the option to rename and delete a presentation:

Presenting your Presentation

  1. Open the Presentation
Navigate to the Presentation you want to present.

  2. Enter Presentation mode
Click "Present" to start the presentation.

  3. Navigate between frames

Use the arrows in the menu or the arrow keys on your keyboard.

  4. Interact with your data

You can still navigate, click on layers to inspect them and hover over markups to get more detail, or open their related attachments.

  5. Exit Presentation Mode

Click "Exit" (in the top left corner) to return to the Presentations panel.
