When you first signed up for Sequence, you were asked if you planned to use it for business finances.
If you selected Yes, you were taken through the KYB (Know Your Business) process and your business is already registered.
If you selected No, or if you upgraded from the Starter plan, you can register your business anytime.
How to register a business now
Go to Settings in the bottom-left corner
Click Beneficiaries
Select + Add a new business
Enter the required business information
Once approved, your business will be active in Sequence
Why register your business?

To link business checking accounts, credit cards, or other external accounts, we need your business details to ensure clean and accurate connections.B. Pods and Income Sources
Every Pod and Income Source in Sequence is a real checking account. Registration ensures each one is tied to the correct entity for compliance and clarity.C. Incoming and outgoing funds
For direct deposits or outbound payments (like credit card processors), the beneficiary must match your business to avoid mismatches, rejections, or tax issues.

What if my business application isn’t approved?
For security reasons, we can’t share details, but we’ll issue a refund immediately.Can I register more than one business?
Yes. Add as many as you need in Settings → Beneficiaries.
Unlimited businesses require the Premium tier.
