The USA Patriot Act requires that banks perform due diligence when opening checking and debit accounts to ensure an applicant's identity is verified.

All applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a copy of their signed personal photo identification, a mobile phone with a major US carrier, a Social Security number, and a US address. At this time we are unable to open accounts for residents of Puerto Rico or US territories.
