Transfers in Sequence work in two ways.

Income Source account to External Account transfers: Sent via same-day ACH which means the transfer is completed on the same day it is initiated. In order to take advantage of same-day ACH, a transfer must be initiated before 3:00pm EST

External Account to External Account transfers: These types of transfers are two different transfers. The first transfer is from the source account to your Sequence account which takes 2 business days to complete. The second transfer is from Sequence to your chosen destination account. The transfer from Sequence to a destination account is same-day ACH(initiated before 3:00pm).

**Please note that for deposits, the name on your Sequence account MUST match the name on the deposit. If you are receiving a transfer and the names do not match, the payment will be rejected and returned to the source.**
