If you encounter the error “Sync with PMS failed: Invalid CompanyId” when syncing a room block, it typically means there is an issue with how the Account is linked to Mews.
Common causes
This error may occur for one of the following reasons:
The Account is not synced with Mews
The account may never have been connected to Mews.The Account was deleted in Mews
If the account no longer exists in Mews, the sync will fail.The Account was merged in Mews
If the original account was merged into another account, the existing sync link is no longer valid.
How to resolve the issue
Verify the account sync
Open the Account in Event Temple.
Click “View in PMS”.
This will confirm whether the account is still properly linked to Mews.
Check for errors in Mews
Reconnect or relink the Account
Ensure the correct Account exists in Mews.
Re-establish the sync between your system and Mews using the valid Account.
