Ensure your assets are properly protected by adding clear and concise Terms & Conditions (T&Cs). This feature is available exclusively to Enterprise accounts in Sesimi.
Adding T&Cs helps users understand any restrictions or limitations associated with an asset's use. This is particularly useful for assets featuring sensitive content, such as images of paid talent, where Rights Management terms apply.
Important Note: Adding T&Cs does not automatically block the use of an asset. It simply provides guidelines that users must acknowledge before using or exporting the asset.
Steps to Add Terms & Conditions:
- Access the Asset Library 
 Open your Asset Library and select the asset(s) to which you want to add Terms & Conditions.
- Navigate to Asset Details 
 Go to the Details tab for the selected asset and click the Pen icon to edit the Asset Details.
 
- Enable Terms & Conditions 
 Toggle the Terms & Conditions option to activate it.
- Add the Terms & Conditions 
 In the provided text box, input the specific Terms & Conditions for the asset.
- Set an Expiry Date 
 Add an expiry date for the T&Cs, such as the end of a Rights Management period or another specific timeframe.
- Save Your Changes 
 Once you’ve added the necessary information, click Save to apply the T&Cs to the asset.
 
Viewing and Acknowledging T&Cs
After adding Terms & Conditions, users will see a prompt to accept them before they can export the asset. The T&Cs can also be reviewed anytime by selecting View in the Information Window.
With these steps, your assets are now protected by clearly defined guidelines, ensuring proper use and safeguarding sensitive content.
