Sesimi provides a simple and efficient way to export your image assets for various purposes. Whether you need to download an asset in different formats and qualities or export it directly to social media, Sesimi's Asset Export area provides all the tools you need. Below is an overview of how to export your assets and the options available.

Downloading Image Assets

On the Asset Export tab, you can download your image assets in various formats, sizes, and qualities. This flexibility ensures that you can use the assets across different channels without any loss of quality. Common download options include:

  • File formats such as PNG, JPEG, .pdf and GIF.

  • Size options for different resolutions, from web-friendly to high-resolution print.

This feature is especially useful when you need a local copy of your assets to upload to external platforms or use in presentations, emails, or printed materials.

How to Download an Image Asset from Sesimi

Exporting an image asset from Sesimi is quick and easy! You have full control over the export settings, including the file format and quality.

💡 Important Notes:

  • You can adjust the format and quality settings only for individual image assets. If you're exporting multiple assets, they will be downloaded in their original format and size as a zip file.

  • Video and HTML assets can only be exported at their original resolution.

Steps to Export an Image Asset:

  1. Select the Image Asset: In your Asset Library, choose the image asset you want to export.

  2. Choose the File Format: Click on the "Format" drop-down menu to select your preferred file type from a variety of options.

  3. Set the Quality: Click on the "Quality" drop-down menu to choose your desired file size. Options include Original (if it matches the original file format), Low, Medium, High, and Maximum. The estimated output file size is displayed next to each option to help you choose the best one.

  4. Download the File: Click "Download," and the file will be saved to your computer.

By following these steps, you can easily export your image assets in the format and quality that best suits your needs!

Exporting to Social Media

Below is a quick summary of exporting your image assets. However, there is a more detailed article on sharing your images directly to Facebook, Instagram, or embedding them on your website.

In addition to downloading, you can now export your image assets directly to social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram via Sesimi. This eliminates the need for multiple steps, like saving assets locally and then uploading them to social platforms.

To export your asset directly to social media:

  1. Select the Asset Export tab.

  2. Choose the Export to Social Media option.

  3. Connect your social media account (Facebook or Instagram) if you haven't done so already.

  4. Select the asset you want to share and click Export.

This feature streamlines the process, allowing you to instantly share content without leaving the Sesimi environment.

Embedding HTML

If you prefer to embed your image asset into a website or email, Sesimi also provides an option for generating an HTML embed code. This is especially useful when you're sharing visual content through newsletters, blogs, or web pages.

To embed an asset via HTML:

  1. Navigate to the Asset Export tab.

  2. Choose the Embed via HTML option.

  3. Copy the generated code and paste it into your website’s or email’s HTML.

This saves time and ensures your asset is optimally displayed across platforms without additional formatting.

Differentiating Between Download and Export

It's important to note the distinction between downloading and exporting assets in Sesimi. While downloading provides a local copy of the asset in various formats and qualities, exporting allows you to send the asset directly to other platforms, such as social media, or use HTML for embedding purposes.

This flexibility gives you the ability to handle assets in the way that best suits your workflow, all from within the same Asset Export area.
