The Sesimi Asset Library allows you to organise, search, and filter your assets with ease. It features a fast and efficient search engine and ensures quick access to the images, videos, and templates you need.

Key Features

1. Search

The Asset Library provides you with instant search results as you type. You can search by:

  • Asset Name

  • Tags

  • Categories

  • Asset Description

2. Filtering

Filters help you refine your search results by narrowing down the assets you need. The following filters are available:

  • Asset Type: For example: Image, Video, and Template.

  • Tags: Any tags applied by you or your organisation team members to organise assets. Tags offer a flexible way to further organise assets. Apply relevant tags to make searching easier and more precise. Common tags might include campaign names, seasons, or themes.

  • Categories: Managed by your account Admins from the Sesimi Settings area, the Sesimi Asset Library uses Categories and Subcategories to help you group assets effectively.

  • Access Level: Filter assets by your level of access or by those that you’ve created yourself.

3. Admin Features:

  • Create categories to organise assets into groups.

  • Edit categories to update group names or structure.

  • Delete categories that are no longer needed.

Admin users can manage categories through the Settings area.

Best Practices for Optimising Your Asset Library Experience

  • Use Descriptive Names: Ensure all assets have clear, concise names to make search results more accurate.

  • Apply Tags Thoughtfully: Use relevant tags that reflect the asset’s content, such as colours, media type, or campaign theme. For example a white, transparent logo could have the tags: white, transparent, logo.

  • Keep Categories Up to Date: Regularly review and update your categories to maintain an organised asset library.

  • Filter by Access Level: Make use of the "Created By Me" and "Shared with me" filters to quickly find assets relevant to your workflow.

Managing Categories as an Admin

If you're an Admin, follow these steps to manage categories:

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Categories from the list of options.

  3. From here, you can create, edit, or delete categories.

Best Practices for Categories:

  • Create broad categories (e.g., “Vehicles” or "Campaigns") and use subcategories for specific types of assets related to the category (e.g., “Corolla” "End of Financial Year ‘24").

  • Keep your category structure simple and intuitive for the whole team.

Summary

The Sesimi Asset Library offers a user-friendly way to manage and filter assets with its powerful search engine and flexible organisation features. By using search, filters, tags, and categories effectively, you can streamline your workflow and quickly find what you need.
