Account Violations (Hard Breach)
Violation of these rules results in immediate account closure.
1. Daily Loss Limit — 3%
The maximum daily loss is the largest amount you can lose in a single trading day. It's calculated from the higher value between your account's starting balance and starting equity at the start of each trading day.
The Maximum Daily Loss resets every day at UTC +0.
Example:
For a $40,000 account:
Account Balance: $40,000
Account Equity: $41,000 (Higher)
3% of $41,000 = $1,230
$41,000 - $1,230 = $39,770
📌 Your equity must stay above $39,770 for that day
2. Maximum Overall Loss — 6% (Trailing)
The maximum overall loss is 6% of your highest recorded account value, making it a trailing drawdown. This means your protection level increases as your account grows, and it always remains 6% below your highest value achieved.
How is it calculated?
The limit is calculated based on your highest account value. When your account value increases, the limit automatically moves up to match the new high, staying exactly 6% below your peak value.
If your account value later decreases, the limit remains fixed — it never drops once set.
Example:
For an $80,000 account:
If your account value reaches $84,000, your maximum overall loss level becomes $78,960 (6% below your highest value).
If your account value later falls to $82,000, your limit remains at $78,960, since it's always based on the highest value achieved
📌 Your drawdown limit follows your highest account value and remains 6% below that peak at all times.
3. Maximum Loss Per Trade - 2%
If your floating profit and loss (PnL) drops below -2% of your account balance at any moment, the account will be permanently closed. This rule enforces strict risk management and prevents excessive losses.
For example, on a $50,000 account, if your combined open trade losses reach -$1,000 (-2%), the account will be immediately closed.
Important Note for $300K & $400K Accounts
For $300,000 and $400,000 accounts, a stricter floating risk limit applies. If your floating PnL drops below 1% of the account balance, the account will be permanently closed.
All other Instant Funded account sizes remain subject to the -2% floating risk limit.
