Who can open a Kids Account?
You don’t have to be a childʻs parent or a guardian to create a Kids Account for them.
Uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers, sisters, godparents, and other well-meaning adults can create and manage an account for a young person in their life.
There’s no limit to how many Kids Accounts you can create and manage.
How to create a Kids Account
Go to ‘Settings’.
Select ‘Create Kids Account’.
From here, you’ll need to:
provide the full name of the child
state your relationship to the child
agree to the Sharesies Kids Accounts Terms and Conditions.
You’ll need the following information for the child:
valid ID for the child
an Australian driver licence,
Australian passport
Australian birth certificate
a certified copy of an overseas passport or birth certificate
the child's tax file number (TFN) if they have one, and their foreign tax number (if applicable)
the child’s residential address.
Fees apply when using Kids Accounts.
