Rebalancing

A key feature of your advised portfolio is that it automatically ‘rebalances’ to keep its asset mix (the ratio of shares, cash, and bonds) aligned with our advice for you.

Whenever you place a buy or sell order for your advised portfolio, the mix of investments is adjusted back toward the advised portfolio’s target allocation.

In addition, once per quarter, our software checks whether any investments have moved from their target allocations. If they have, the portfolio is automatically rebalanced by selling and buying investments back to the target asset allocation.

There are no additional transaction fees when your advised portfolio is automatically rebalanced quarterly.

Currency hedging

Currency hedging is a way to protect investments from currency fluctuations.

Our advised portfolios are currency hedged to reduce the impact of currency fluctuations.

Dividend reinvestment

We’ll automatically reinvest dividends paid from managed funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs)—transaction fees aren’t charged when dividends are reinvested.
