Transaction fees

You are charged transaction fees when you buy or sell investments in your portfolio.

Transactions fees are 1.9% up to the $25 fee cap on the amount bought or sold.

You aren’t charged transaction fees on automatic rebalancing.

If you are on a plan, buys and sells count towards your plan coverage.

Advised portfolio fee

There’s a 0.20% per annum advised portfolio fee on each advised portfolio. This fee is calculated daily and deducted monthly from each advised portfolio. It covers the automated rebalancing feature of the portfolio and the expertise and administration behind the creation of your portfolio.

Underlying management fees

Each managed fund and exchange-traded fund (ETF) has underlying management fees. There is no separate or additional charge for underlying management fees but this will be reflected in the unit price for that fund or ETF.

We invest in New Zealand dollars to avoid currency exchange fees and international tax obligations.
