You can invite your partner to create their own will that reflects yours.
Their will starts off as a ‘mirror’ of yours, flipping the details so they name you where you've named them, with the freedom to change anything to make it their own.
Partner wills are best suited for straightforward situations. If you’d like something more tailored to your situation, you may want to consult a lawyer.
To invite your partner when creating a will:
log in to the Sharesies app
go to Portfolio
scroll to Protect and tap Your cover > Your will
tap Finalise my will (only visible if you’ve completed the essential steps to create a will)
review the details of your will and make any edits
select ‘Add Partner’s will’
read and agree to the terms and conditions
tap Finalise and follow the prompts to pay
To invite your partner if you already have a Sharesies Will:
log in to the Sharesies app
go to Portfolio > Protect
tap Your cover > Your will > Manage my will
under ‘More actions’ select Invite your partner and follow the prompts
We’ll send your partner an invite which is valid for 7 days. If your partner doesn’t have a Sharesies account, they’ll need to make one to accept your invite.
You can check the status of the invite, and resend or cancel it, from ‘Manage my will’.
If your partner already has a Sharesies Will, accepting your invite will overwrite their existing will with the details you’ve chosen to copy across. They’ll be able to edit these details after accepting the invite.
Paying for your partner wills
You can choose to pay for both wills upfront for $168 ($30 off), or pay $99 and invite your partner later for $79 ($20 off).
If your partner already has a Sharesies Will and they want to update it to reflect yours, they’ll pay their regular edit cost of $49 (or $0 if they’re within their free 30-day edit period).

Create a Sharesies Will by 30 September 2026 and you’ll receive $10 off your will. And if you leave a charity bequest in your will, Sharesies will donate $10 to a charity you’ve named. Terms apply.
