Setting up an organisation account involves more than one person. We'll ask each director, trustee, or partner to confirm their identity. Verifying your identity and having access to the account are two different things.
One login to start with
When your account is open, one person holds the login and manages the account's day-to-day operations. Access stays with that person, even though several people helped verify the organisation.
So if you're a director who verified your identity, you've helped us verify the organisation. The login remains with whoever set up the account.
Your organisation owns everything in the account
Whoever holds the login is acting on the organisation's behalf. Your company, trust, or partnership is the legal owner of all the assets and funds in the account—not the person logging in.
Giving other people access
Being able to give other people their own access, at different levels of permission, is something we're working on. We'll update this article when it's available.
