Connections let you create links between records; these are usually between people, organisations and bookings but connections are also used to link documents that a person has liked.

For the regular connections between people and organisations you can define a set of common connection types. These are managed in settings: https://settings.sheepcrm.com/contacts/config/contact_settings

When adding a new connection the choices in the drop-down list will be based on your values in settings. If the connection role you need is not available please contact your system administrator to add more to your settings, or add a one off by typing directly into that field and selecting create.
