What are Tasks?
Tasks help you track and manage to-dos related to leads, customers, or internal workflows. You can assign them, set due dates, link to contacts, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
When to use Tasks?
Use Tasks to:
Remind yourself to follow up with a lead after a call.
Assign internal work related to a customer issue.
Track next steps in a deal or onboarding process.
Stay organised across multiple customer touchpoints.
How to create a Task on a Contact?
Navigate to the contact you want to attach a task to.
From the contact side panel menu, go to Tasks via the side panel navigation.
3. From the task view, click Add Task, this will open the Add task modal.
4. When the Add task modal opens, fill in the details:
Task details
Assigned to (you or a teammate)
Specify a due date (best practice)
Add any tags if they are needed
5. Click Add task
6. You will now see the open task created.

How to view and manage your tasks?
To access your tasks, go to the top right menu, click on your profile picture and then from the dropdown select Tasks.
This will open up the tasks side panel. From the task side panel you can see and manage all tasks assigned to you.
Marking a task as complete
Tasks assigned to you can be marked as complete by either clicking on the tick icon from the open tasks view or by opening the task and selecting mark as complete.
Deleting a task
Click on an existing task to bring up the modal, then select action > edit task then from the edit modal you can select delete task in the bottom right of the modal. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to delete the task - click on yes to confirm and delete the task.
Please note that this process can not be undone and the task can not be recovered.
How to view all team tasks
To see all tasks, including other team members, navigate to the Tasks sidepanel form the main menu dropdown. Then you can click on the All tasks from the tasks side panel navigation.

Email Notifications
When you assign a task to a user, the system will fire an automated email containing the details of the task to the assinged users email address. This will link back to the contact that the task relates to.
