How do I log in to sheepCRM?

First, go to https://accounts.sheepcrm.com/ you will also be re-directed here from your Alpine Homepage should you use the recommended bookmark or stored link https://core.sheepcrm.com/ if your user session has expired.

Enter your email into the email address field.

Optionally, check the Remember me on this device if you are on a trusted device that you use regularly. This will remember your device for a period of 1 month. ⚠️ Don't check this if you are on a shared computer or device.

Then press continue.

If your email matches a user in the system you will then be asked for your password.

You will also get the option to keep your user account logged in for a period of 24hrs or 7 days. This can be useful if you are using a dedicated computer that only you have access to. This means the browser will remember you when you come back and you will only have to re-authenticate every 24hrs or 7 days, depending on what you choose.

⚠️ We strongly recommend you remain with 24hrs on any shared computer or device.

Enter your password, choose your sign-in period and then hit sign in.

If you have multi-factor authentication turned on, you will then be prompted for your security code via SMS. For best security practices, we advise all users to turn on multi-factor authentication. See further down for information on how to turn this on for your user account.

Check your phone for the SMS containing your security code and enter it to log in.

If you do not have MFA set this is covered further down in this article.

Once you are successfully verified, you will be redirected to our accounts landing page as seen below.

From here, you can easily get to Alpine using the button underneath the sheepCRM applications, or any other modules that you may have such as flow or events etc.

You can now access https://core.sheepcrm.com directly through the browser or from a bookmarked link. Depending on your sign-in period (24hrs vs 7 days) you can can keep going directly to core until you are required to re-sign in you do not have to keep coming back to the accounts page.

User Account Security Best Practices - ⚠️ IMPORTANT

The key steps to making sure your user account is secure are

  • Set up multi-factor authentication, probably the most important and best way to prevent any type of major security issue with your user account.

  • Set a strong password. When setting a password, we ensure that the password strength rating is high enough to avoid being easily hacked. This will require a combination of characters and a set length.

  • Periodically changing your password is also recommended, please seek guidance from your internal IT security policies or recommendations.
