What unbelievable times we are living in. Like many of you we are thinking hard about keeping things running while also looking out for those around us.

SheepCRM
The team behind Sheep usually work from home; we are based in the Cotswolds, Peak District, and North Devon with an office in Weston-super-Mare. Enforced isolation of working from home won't noticeably change our working patterns.

Our remote locations means that it is unlikely that we will all be ill at the same time. As a small team we know each others roles very well and can cover for one another. We may take longer to respond to support requests but we expect to offer 'holiday' support as a minimum.

We are actively capturing how you as members of our sheepCRM community are being impacted, and how you are having to support and respond to the needs of your members. Hence, we are also working on fast tracking some things in the system to help you manage this situation, we will announce these as and when appropriate.

Please let us know what you are experiencing or if there is any support you need.

How we can help local communities
We are working with several groups and organisations that are organising local emergency community support. We are making some rapid changes to SheepCRM to enable us to offer a light-weight version to help community groups. We'll be making this available for no charge for the duration of this health emergency. Unfortunately we will need to limit signups until we can scale up our systems. Please contact us through the Intercom chat and we'll be in touch.

We will be posting help articles for Mutual Aid groups here shortly.

What we can offer:

  • Small central database for contacts

  • Use Sheep Teams to grant secure access for team leaders to small groups and to share notes and tasks.

  • Sheep self-service to allow online registration (offers of help or requests for assistance)

Sheep was not designed for this crisis but if it can be used as part of a wide solution then we are glad to help. For example: Sheep isn't an alternative for a group chat such as WhatsApp.
