๐ข sheepCRM and sheepApp are different systems with different passwords
sheepCRM is the admin or management system and user domain that allows access to the contact database (or a subsection in the case of limited user accounts)
sheepApp is the self-service system that allows your members or contacts to login an manage their own data (and in some cases the data of linked contacts)
Both systems use email addresses as usernames but the accounts are separate (for security) and the password for one account should not be used for the other.
sheepCRM login
You need to be invited by your database administrator. You will either get an automated invitation message asking you to activate your account or a personal email from your administrator.
If the invitation has expired or you need to reset your password you can start again using the "Activate my account / Reset my password" link.
Please see our troubleshooting section if you are having issues logging into your sheepCRM account.
SheepCRM Password Reset
Troubleshooting
Emails are case sensitive
Check that your email address is exactly as configured. The first part of an email address is case sensitive. As a result of this myemail@example.com
will not work if you registered your account as MyEmail@example.com
.
Account lock outs
If you fail to log in 7 times in short succession you will be temporarily locked out of your account. This lock out lasts 15 minutes - please wait 15 minutes before trying again.
There is also a limit on password reset actions, if you trigger a password reset 7 times in short succession for sheepCRM ( or 5 times for sheepApp ) you will also be locked out for 15 minutes.
โ
Minimum password strength
sheepCRM enforces a minimum password strength to prevent users using insecure passwords, such as single words or common patterns. When setting your password you will be shown suggestions to improve security.
Using a password manager
If you are having trouble remembering your password, we recommend using a password manager to save and auto-fill all of your long and secure passwords.

Password reset emails are not being received
Very occasionally we find that account activation emails and password resets may be blocked by some business class mail servers. If you have not received an email after a few minutes, first please check your spam folder.
Automated emails are sent via Sparkpost from no-reply@sheepcrm.com - adding this address to your address book may help in some circumstances.
In very rare circumstances, adding our sending IP or hostname to your mail server's explicit allowlists may be required.
Our sending IP is 192.174.93.104 and was last changed in Sept 2021
Our sending hostname is mta-93-104.sparkpostmail.com and was last changed in Sept 2021
If you are still having issues after follwing these steps please contact support.
