Trouble logging in?

๐Ÿ“ข sheepCRM and sheepApp are different systems with different passwords

sheepCRM is the admin or management system and user domain that allows access to the whole contact database (or a subsection of)

sheepApp is the self-service system that allows users to login an manage their own data (and the data of children or other linked contacts)

Both systems use email addresses as usernames but the accounts are separate (for security) and the password for one accounts cannot be used for the other.

You need to be invited by your database administrator. You will either get an automated invite message asking you to activate your account or a personal email from your administrator.

If the invitation has expired or you need to reset your password you can start again using the "Activate my account / Reset my password" link.

Emails are case sensitive

Check that your email address is exactly as configured. The first part of an email address is case sensitive. As a result of this myemail@example.com will not work if you registered your account as MyEmail@example.com .


Account lock outs

If you fail to log in 7 times in short succession you will be temporarily locked out of your account. This lock out lasts 15 minutes - please wait 15 minutes before trying again.

There is also a limit on password reset actions, if you trigger a password reset 7 times in short succession for sheepCRM ( or 5 times for sheepApp ) you will also be locked out for 15 minutes.

Using a password manager

If you are having trouble remembering your password, we recommend using a password manager to save and auto-fill all of your long and secure passwords.
