Your current email settings can be found in the sheep settings section. Go to settings.sheepcrm.com and log in to your CRM user account if not already. From the settings section, click on the Communications & Flow tab in the navigation and click on email settings option. This will present a number of panels which are outlined below.

sheepCRM email

Any emails sent out from sheepCRM to your members - whether manually sent by your staff or transactional from sheepCRM - will use the details below. As a result, it's important to make sure these settings are always valid and up to date.

Sending email account

Enter the email address that sheepCRM will send from. A good practice is to make the address clear that is is being used for transactional emails and may not be a 'personal' account, something like noreply@yourdomain.com

Sending email name

Enter the name that will appear next to the sending address. This is generally your organisation name, but you could set this to something else.

Reply to name

If you have a non-personal email address in the sending account, you can enter an email address for all replies to be sent to. Unlike the sending email account, this must be an email account which your staff have ready access to.

BCC all email

Optionally, enter an additional email address to receive BCCs (Blind Carbon Copy) of all emails sent out by sheepCRM. This can be useful for troubleshooting or if you need a separate archive of transactional emails.

Additional settings

For best results, we recommend using SparkPost to handle automated and bulk emails to your members. If you have agreed to using SparkPost, your sheepCRM account manager will set this up during the initial setup of your flock.
