The fee that you charge per lesson is entirely up to you and can be changed at any point.

Tutors often would like to increase their rate for new students whilst ensuring it remains the same for existing students.

Your rate is set on your Profile Page. This is what will show to students when they visit your calendar to book in a lesson with you:

Also, bear in mind that you may also have rates set on your Subjects page, specifically for each subject and level. When updating your rate, ensure you also update it for each subject.

Students who already have flexible or regular bookings created with you will be unaffected. The rate for a booking is set at the time it is created.

This means that regular bookings will continue on at the pre-agreed rate until they are cancelled.

Flexible lessons will continue at the pre-agreed rate until the block has ended.

If you'd like to set up a new booking with an existing student at the pre-agreed rate, you are able to choose your rate when setting up the booking:

If the existing student tries to set up a booking with you, they'll see your new rate.

You can see what price you are currently charging for lessons by visiting your bookings page and clicking the green "edit" button next to the relevant session.

Then review the price listed under each individual lesson within the booking that was agreed upon in the booking request.
