Finding the Edit Booking Page
Your lessons with a student can be edited at any time on the Bookings page.
Change the date or time of your bookings by first clicking the green 'Edit' button.
Editing and Cancelling Your Sessions
This screen allows you to edit or cancel any individual lessons within that booking using the 'X' or 'Edit' buttons next to each relevant session.
You can also edit or cancel all of the sessions in that booking at once (including any future repeating sessions) using the 'Reschedule all Lessons' or 'Cancel all Lessons' buttons on the left-hand side of this page.
To make things easier, tutors can reschedule sessions without student approval through the platform, provided you have discussed it and agreed in advance.
To avoid any confusion, always confirm any planned changes through your messages with the client, so there is written evidence.
Accepting an Edit Request
Sometimes clients will request a change to a confirmed session through the platform. You will receive an email notifying you when an edit request is made.
Head to the edit booking page and click the badge shown below to accept, edit or cancel the request. The client will be notified by email.
Cancelling or Rescheduling a Lesson with Short Notice
A payment hold is taken 24 hours before each lesson is due to take place. If a lesson request is confirmed with less notice, the payment will be taken immediately after confirmation. It will then show as "Payment Confirmed" on the edit booking page.
Rescheduling the booking before the classroom opens (10 minutes before the start time) will use the same payment hold as long as it is rescheduled within 24 hours. If it is rescheduled further into the future, the pending payment hold will be dropped and recollected 24hrs before the rescheduled time.
Cancelling the booking after a pending payment has already been made, but before the classroom opens (10 minutes before the start time) will drop the payment hold permanently to provide a full refund to the student.
