There are several reasons a tutor may wish to refund a student following a lesson. It may have not gone to plan due to technical difficulties or either side may have not attended due to mitigating circumstances.

While students can request a refund and dispute the charge for a lesson that didn't go ahead as planned, we make it easier for tutors to action this themselves from their completed bookings page.

Next to the relevant lesson, you will see a 'Refund' button.

Once clicked a window will pop up to allow you to choose the amount you choose to refund based on the circumstances. This will show the full amount by default or can be changed to a partial refund to the nearest £1.

Click 'Refund' to send the refund to the student. We will notify them via email.

Any refund processed after a lesson has started will take 5-10 business days to appear in the recipient's bank account.
