CH Robinson LTL Integration Guide

The CH Robinson LTL integration allows users to access live Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) rates directly through the Shipwell platform. This integration supports:

  • Contracted and spot market rates (if available)

  • Automatic tracking updates

  • Shipment documents such as Proof of Deliveries (PODs) and Invoices

How to Enable the CH Robinson Integration

  1. Go to Manage > Carriers and locate your CH Robinson carrier profile.

  2. Click into the carrier profile and select Accounts from the left-side menu.

  3. Click Add Accounts, then enter the following required details:

    • Account Name

    • Billing Address

    • CH Robinson C Code

  4. Optional: Adding Multiple Accounts

    • If you ship from multiple locations, you can enter Origin and Destination details for each account.

    • If you only use one account, leave these fields blank.

  5. Click Connect to finalize the setup.

  6. A green indicator confirms a successful connection.

If you have an account that is used for both FTL and LTL shipments, you can add both of the modes when setting up the account.

How to Get CH Robinson LTL Rates

  1. Open a shipment and go to the Rates tab.

  2. Click Edit Quote, then Get Quotes.

  3. The system will retrieve standard LTL rates along with CH Robinson LTL rates.

  4. Click the dropdown (∨) icon next to a rate to view detailed line-item costs.

Selecting a Rate & Dispatching a Shipment

  1. Click Select next to your preferred rate.

  2. Review the confirmation page and confirm the selection.

  3. Once confirmed, the system will:

    • Dispatch the shipment to CH Robinson

    • Update the shipment status to Tendered

You can now click the Select button next to the rate to begin the dispatch process. After clicking the Select button you will be taken to the confirmation page. Once confirmed, the system will dispatch the shipment to CH Robinson and the shipment status will change to Tendered.

Automatic Tracking & Document Retrieval

  • Tracking updates will automatically appear in the Shipment Tracking tab under the Shipment Timeline.

  • Invoices and other shipment documents (like Proof of Delivery) will be stored in the Documents window.
