Overview
You can delete individual entries from your Address Book in Shipwell. Deleted entries cannot be recovered, so confirm you have the correct entry before proceeding.
Note: You must have the Delete Address Book Entries permission to delete entries. If the Delete option is grayed out or missing, contact your account administrator to request access.
How to Delete an Address Book Entry
Navigate to Manage > Address Book in the top navigation.
Find the address entry you want to delete in the list.
Click the overflow menu icon (⋮) in the Actions column on that row.
Select Delete from the dropdown. (The Delete option will be grayed out if you do not have the required permission.)
A confirmation modal will appear asking: "Are you sure you want to delete [company name]?"
Click Delete to confirm, or Cancel to go back.
Once confirmed, the address is permanently removed and the list refreshes automatically. If the deletion fails, an error message will appear — try again or contact your Customer Success Manager.
Important Notes
Deletions are permanent — deleted addresses cannot be recovered.
Permission required — you must have the locations.delete_address_book_entries permission. If the Delete option is disabled, contact your account administrator.
If you only want to update an address, use the Edit option from the same overflow menu instead of deleting.
