Overview
A Proof of Delivery (POD) is a critical document confirming that a shipment was successfully delivered. Shipwell does not currently offer a native dashboard filter for "missing POD" — but this article explains your best options for identifying shipments that are missing this document.
Current Limitation
The Shipments Dashboard does not have a built-in "missing POD" filter. Document-based filtering (e.g., "has no POD attached") is not available as a standard filter option in the dashboard UI.
Options to Find Shipments Missing a POD
Option 1: Manual Review via Dashboard (Small Volumes)
On the Shipments Dashboard, filter by Delivered status.
Open each shipment and check the Documents tab for a POD document.
This method works for small sets of shipments but does not scale to large volumes.
Option 2: Analytics Report (If Analytics Is Enabled)
If your account has the Analytics feature enabled, you may be able to run a report on delivered shipments and cross-reference document data to identify missing PODs.
Contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to request a custom report or analytics setup for this use case.
Option 3: Settlement / First Pass Match (Invoice-Triggered)
If your account uses Settlements/Invoicing, the system can flag a "missing POD" as an exception during invoice processing. Note: this surfaces the gap at payment time, not proactively before invoicing.
