You can add potential customers to ship to or from.

  1. In app.shipwell.com (or your custom URL), select New > Customer. The Add Customer page appears.

  1. Fill out the following required customer information, as well as any optional information you wish to include with the customer:

  1. Company Name

  2. Primary Contact First and Last Name

  3. Admin Email

  1. NOTE: You will NOT be able to edit or change this email upon saving the customer.

  1. Phone number

  1. (Optional) If you have any LTL tariffs that have been uploaded to the Shipwell platform, you can give customers access to Quote or Book with your LTL rates by checking the Quote With My Rates or Book With My Rates options.

  1. (Optional) Under the Markup section, you can set FTL and LTL markup fees for your customer. In the FTL or LTL Billing Settings dropdown, chose between Flat Fee or Percentage, and then enter the fee or percentage. If you wish to set a credit limit for your customer, enter the limit into the Credit Limit box.

  1. Ensure that all customer information, including admin email, is correct. Upon validation, select Save. That customer now appears in your customer list.
