In app.shipwell.com (or your custom URL), click Manage > Address Book.
Select Import
The Import Address Book modal appears.
In the Import Address Book modal, select Download CSV Template. A CSV template that includes all mappable address book fields downloads to your computer.
Open the CSV template. Enter the necessary Address Book information directly into the CSV file. Fill out the necessary information for each individual Address Book entry.
NOTE: You can also paste the pre-populated columns of the CSV template into a Google Sheet.
When filling out the template, please remember the following restrictions:You can only add one contact per facilityThe only countries available are the US (United States), CA (Canada), and MX (Mexico)
Once all information is entered, either upload the CSV file or paste the URL for the Google Sheet into the Address Book importer.
Select Next. The importer reads the file and maps all CSV or Google sheet data into the Shipwell platform.
Validate all column headers and fix any entry errors. Any required columns missing from the original CSV file highlight in red.
Once you’ve validated all headers, select Validate. Any address book entries contained in the CSV file or Google sheet appear in the Address Book list. NOTE: Any unfixed data errors will automatically populate.
Once all column headers are verified, click “Validate”
If there are any errors with the data, an error message will populate and indicate what changes need to be made in order to successfully validate the import.
