LTL/VTL instant rates
Already logged into the app.shipwell.com platform or your customized URL, at the top you will click on the “New” button to get the following drop down options and then click on “Quote”.
Once selected you will be directed to the following screen.
Customer: If your company profile has customer accounts you will see this option field, use the drop down to scroll or type the associated customer to the shipment
Mode & Equipment: Use the drop down to specify the mode of shipment to receive instant rates select “Less Than Truckload” or Volume Less Than Truckload”. Both of these options will auto-populate “Dry Van” as the “Equipment”
Next you will enter stop information. The addresses can either be a “Saved Address” from your Address Book, a manually typed Google address, or a zip code.
Click on the calendar to choose the desired pickup date.
Location Type: can be changed if picking up or dropping off at other types of locations i.e. Terminal, Airport, Resident, etc.
Accessorials: Any other needed accessorials for the pick up or drop off locations can be added i.e. Pickup Appointment, Liftgate,etc.
Once completing the stop information, you will enter product information.
If you have saved “Products” you can “Load from Products” to fill out the needed information. If not everything that is required can be entered manually.
Click the drop down for selecting “Freight Class”
NMFC codes are not required but are preferred.
You can “Override the Declared Value” of the shipment if you do not know the piece count.
When completed scroll to the bottom and click on “Get Quotes”
When you have made a decision on the carrier, click on the blue “Select Button”
You will be redirected to “Confirm Details for Shipment”, finish filling out full addresses if originally was quoted from a manual address or zip code.
At the bottom you will either click on “Schedule Pick Up Only” or Schedule Pick Up and Print BOL”
Both of these options will let the carrier know that the shipment was booked.
