Load board & request bids
Already logged into the app.shipwell.com platform or your customized URL, click on a shipment that you are going to request bids or add to your load board.
Once in the shipment details page in the column of options you will see “Add to Loadboard” and “Send to Carriers”.
Add to Loadboard: Adding a shipment to the loadboard will share the available shipment information to all carriers that have received loadboard permission to your spot board. This will not send an email notification to your selected carriers. It will show the carriers a list of shipments that are available for bidding.
Send To Carriers: When selected, there will be a drop down of options, click on “Request Bids”. This will populate another page where you can select carriers by “Tags” or manually search carrier emails. This will send an email notification to the selected carriers.
“Special Instructions”: Any needed information you would like to specify during the bidding process. I.e. requires specific equipment, loading, tracking, etc.
When you have done either or/both, in the same page at the bottom you will see the bids from the carriers coming in.
Clicking on the carrier name will allow you to message back and forth with that specific carrier.
Click on “Select” to move forward with the carrier.
