Each shipment contains notes and messages to communicate between shippers and carriers.

To send notes and messages, select "Shipments" and select the shipment ID for which you want to leave a message.

"Internal Notes" and "Messages" have boxes for quick and direct entry.

Internal Notes

Internal notes are for your team only and do not show to anyone outside your company.

To enter the note, begin typing in the "add a new note here" box. After you've entered the desired message, select "Save."

The note stays in the shipment screen for the lifecycle of the load. Use the actions menu to pin, edit, or delete the note.

View current notes on the shipment board by selecting the Paper icon in the Notes column.

If a Shipment doesn't already contain a note, select the Plus icon to add one.

Messages

The Messaging Box is a conversation between the company, the carrier, and the customer contact.

Messaging is an opportunity to communicate with all parties involved in the shipment.
