Shipwell supports enterprise single sign on (SSO) so a customer's users can access Shipwell without having to maintain separate usernames and passwords. Instead, users can use their SSO provider authentication to access Shipwell. Shipwell supports enterprise SSO that supports SAML 2.0 which covers most SSO providers like Okta or OneLogin.

Organizations leveraging SSO can have Shipwell added and users will be able to select Shipwell app and be immediately authenticated to access Shipwell.

Unauthenticated users in organizations where SSO has been configured within Shipwell can also go to https://whitelabeldomain.shipwell.com will see a new ‘Continue with Okta SSO’ option where they can use their Okta credentials to access Shipwell.

The other benefit for SSO setup for clients is the automatic deprovisioning of Shipwell access. This deprovisioning of access includes the deletion of a user’s separate email / password Shipwell access that users have currently when they signup with Shipwell.

SSO Setup Process

For Shipwell clients that have an enterprise SSO that supports SAML 2.0 and have a white-label Shipwell domain, we can setup SSO access. The setup process requires minor configurations that a client’s IT/SSO department will need to do within their SSO instance prior to activating. If interested in setting up SSO access for your environment then please reach out to your Shipwell Customer Service Representative to start the setup process.
