Shipwell’s Supplier Collaboration Portal (aka Supplier Portal) provides a platform for Shipwell customers to collaborate with their suppliers on inbound freight. The Supplier Portal helps customers and their suppliers save time and increase effectiveness of their inbound freight.

Within the Supplier Collaboration Portal you can manage suppliers and your supplier contacts that you collaborate with them on orders and shipments within Shipwell. You manage your suppliers by selecting ‘Manage’ -> ‘Supplier’ and you will be taken to the Supplier Dashboard that lists all your current Suppliers. Supplier’s only see the orders within Shipwell that they are designated as a Supplier.

Select ‘+ Supplier’ to initiate the creation process for a new supplier.

Enter high-level supplier information. You can have multiple supplier entities created for the same supplier if desired. Just create each as a new supplier. Customers may have multiple suppliers that are the same. For example, 'Supplier ABC' might have an east coast and a west coast operation you want these separated out into two different entities to engage with. By setting up as 'Supplier ABC - East Coast' and 'Supplier ABC - West Coast' and identifying the contacts for each organization then only contacts under each of these will see the respective orders and further receive notification/emails for their orders.

Enter one or more contacts for the supplier. Your supplier contacts can be modified at any time. Further, identify if which contacts that you want to receive order-related emails/notifications. Note suppliers will get the supplier portal invite to create their account no matter if you have the checkbox ‘Receive order related emails/notifications’. The same contacts can be added to multiple suppliers. Supplier contacts can be edited or removed at any time by customers.
