Step 1: Start by accessing the enhanced version of our shipping zones. We've recently expanded our support to include both weight-based and rate-based shipping.
Step 2: Click on the Manage button. This is where you'll make changes to your general profile.
Step 3: Click on Add Rates.
Step 4: For this demonstration, we'll name our new rate "Test 2". You'll also have the option to upload PIN codes. This is useful if you want to restrict shipping to certain areas.
Step 5: Set your fees. For this example, we'll use a fee of 10 rupees. You can choose to set your fees based on weight or order amount. In this case, we'll use order-based fees.
Step 6: Set your minimum and maximum values. We'll use a minimum value of 10 rupees and a maximum value of 100 rupees.
Step 7: Decide if you want to add an additional charge for Cash on Delivery (COD). For this example, we'll add an extra charge of 10 rupees for COD.
Step 8: Enable COD.
Step 9: Specify your delivery timeframe. This could be a general timeframe, like 2-3 days, or a specific timeframe if you're using a shipping partner like Shiprocket or ClickPost.
Step 10: If you're using a shipping partner, integrate with them through the Customize option.
Step 11: Save your settings. Your shipping partner's data will be fetched directly.
You now have the ability to use both weight-based and rate-based shipping in Shopflo. However, it's recommended to use either weight-based or rate-based shipping, not both.
