Before you enable this feature for your store, we recommend informing our team so we can perform compatibility checks with your shipping or delivery partner. This helps prevent any potential disruptions.
Before you proceed, ensure the following:
COD is enabled in your shipping rates — this is required for the Split COD option to appear.
Split COD is enabled as a payment method by navigating to:
Customize UI → Payments tab, and turning on the Split COD option.
And that's it! You've now learned how to manage your RTOs using the Split COD feature in Shopflo.
Troubleshooting Split COD Visibility
If Split COD does not display as expected at checkout, follow these steps to troubleshoot:
Check Payment Customization Settings: Ensure the Split COD option is enabled in the UI payment customization settings. Disable any conflicting automation if applicable.
Review Shipping Zone Settings: Verify COD enablement for the relevant shipping rate. If COD is turned off for that range, Split COD won't be visible.
Review Automation Rules: For products with automation enabled, the regular COD option may be blocked. In these cases, Split COD and online payment options should appear as alternatives.
