Implementing Split COD in Shopflo to Reduce RTOs

Step 1: Navigate to the Shopflo Dashboard.

Step 2: Click on RTO Suite.

Step 3: Enable the Split Payment feature.

Step 4: Click on Edit.

Step 5: Set the minimum amount for split. In this example, we're setting it to a thousand rupees.

Step 6: Decide the percentage you want to accept upfront. Here, we're accepting 10%.

Step 7: Click on Save.

Before enabling Split COD, remember to inform us about your shipping or delivery partner so we can check compatibility. Also, make sure you've enabled Split COD from Customize UI Checkout UI Payments. Additionally, you can set a cart value threshold to specify when Split COD payment options will be available to customers by navigating to the automation settings in your dashboard.

Ensure that Split COD is enabled.

However, it's recommended to let us know before enabling this feature for your store. This ensures compatibility checks are performed with your shipping or delivery partner to avoid any disruptions.

Offering Discounts on Partial COD Payments

Shopflo enables you to offer prepaid payment incentives to encourage customers to pay a portion of their order upfront. You can create discounts for partial COD payments. For instance:

  1. Navigate to the payment settings and create a new payment offer.

  2. Select the payment type as split payment and set the discount percentage (e.g., 2%).

  3. Associate this offer with COD purchases where customers pay a predefined amount upfront.
