1.2 Add your first Office Manager

Goal

Bring on teammates who will manage one or more Offices on your behalf. Office Managers handle day-to-day setup and operations for the locations in their Office(s), so standing them up early lets you delegate the rest of setup (tags, templates, locations).

Who

Org Admin.

Steps

  1. In Organization Settings, find the section for managing Field user roles.

  2. Find the Member user you want to promote.

  3. Grant them the Office Manager role.

  4. Pick which Office(s) they'll manage.

Note

Only users with the Member Sibi role are eligible to become Office Managers. View Only users can't be promoted. Org Admins already have full access across the org, so they don't need the Office Manager role.

Notes

  • An Office Manager scoped to Office A cannot see locations in Office B. If they need access to multiple Offices, assign them to each.

  • Removing the Office Manager role doesn't affect the user's underlying Sibi role; they keep their Member status.
