Sibi Field uses three layers of access. You don't need to memorize this, but knowing the layers makes the rest of the doc make sense.
Field setup Field is configured per organization by Sibi. If your organization is new to Field, your Sibi CSM will guide you through getting set up.
Sibi role Every Sibi user has a baseline role:
Org Admin can do everything across the organization.
Member is the standard active-user role. Members can use the Field mobile app for day-to-day work and can be made Field Managers.
View Only is the default role for invited Techs. It lets them see what they need to without giving them broad write access elsewhere in Sibi.
Field Manager A switch on a user's profile on your organization's Users page. Field Managers can create and manage locations, templates, and bins. What they see is scoped by their Office assignments: a Field Manager assigned to Office A works with Office A's locations, not Office B's.
On the Users page, people involved in Field carry a badge: Field Manager for managers, Field Technician for Techs who've been invited to a location.
Note
Only Members can be made Field Managers. View Only users aren't eligible. Org Admins always have Field Manager access, so there's nothing to turn on for them.
