Goal
Get one-time inventory into the system that doesn't have a catalog SKU. This is the path for parts bought at a hardware store or any other item without a SKU.
Who
Techs and Field Managers picking up consumables or unique tools.
Steps
From any tab in the mobile app, tap the camera icon in the top-right of the header and choose Receipt Scan.
Choose Take Photo or Upload Photo.
Capture or select the image.
Confirm the detected items: name, quantity, unit price.
Submit. The items appear at the location and behave like any other bins.
Notes
Ad-hoc bins issue, transfer, and adjust the same way as catalog bins.
A receipt item used down to zero clears out of your inventory list on its own; there's nothing to clean up.
