When you add cash to your Sidekick wallet, you have two funding options:
🚀 1. Instant bank transfer (recommended)
This uses Open Banking to connect to your nominated UK bank account and transfer funds instantly.
No need to enter account numbers manually — just authorise the payment through your bank.
🏦 2. Manual bank transfer
If you prefer to make the payment manually from your online banking app or desktop, you can find your unique account number and sort code in the app:
Open the Wallet
Tap Add Cash
Select Manual transfer
You’ll see:
Your unique account number and sort code
These details are provided by our regulated payments partner Currencycloud, and funds sent here are safeguarded and allocated directly to your Sidekick wallet.
💡 Important: You must send funds from your linked/nominated UK bank account only.
Deposits sent from other accounts will be rejected for security reasons.
