What is the Maximum to Convert?

What it is, how it works, and practical examples

Updated over a month ago

When you use promotions like bonuses, free bets, etc., they commonly offer an additional benefit to your balance. However, some of them include a condition called the "maximum conversion" (also known as the Conversion Cap), which defines the profit limit you can obtain by using that promotion.

Here we explain exactly how it works.

🔵 What is the maximum conversion?

The maximum conversion is a profit limit that applies exclusively to certain promotional benefits such as:

  • Casino bonuses

  • Sports bonuses

  • Free bets

  • Free spins

This limit indicates the maximum amount of money you can receive after using that promotional benefit, regardless of the theoretical profit generated by the bet.

🧮 Practical examples

Let's consider the following promotion:

  • You deposit $20,000 on the "Trick or Treat" promo.

  • You receive 20 free spins (with no conversion limit)

  • And a $2,000 free bet with a maximum conversion of 300%.

This means the maximum you can win with that free bet is:

$2,000 × 300% = $6,000

Example 1 You exceed the limit (the conversion limit applies)

You bet the free bet on a parlay with total odds of 4.2.

Theoretical profit calculation:

$2,000 × 4.2 = $8,400

But since the maximum allowed is $6,000, the system adjusts the profit:

  • You receive: $6,000

  • $2,400 is forfeited

Example 2 Profit within the limit (you receive the full amount)

If you place the same free bet at odds of 2.1, you generate:

$2,000 × 2.1 = $4,200

Since this profit is within the $6,000 limit:

  • You receive: $4,200 💸

  • Nothing is deducted or adjusted.
