Quick Start Guide
Step 1: Create Your Account
Visit SignalStep and click "Sign Up"
Enter your email and create a password
Verify your email address
Step 2: Join or Create a Team
Individual Use: Start with a free trial (3 credits included)
Team Use: Create a team to share feedback templates and credits with colleagues
Step 3: Create Your First Feedback Request
Choose a Template
Browse our library of pre-built feedback templates
Categories include performance reviews, 360 feedback, project retrospectives, and more
Or create a custom template with your own questions
Select Your Feedback Providers
You have two options for collecting feedback:
Option 1: Email Invitations
Enter email addresses of people you want feedback from
They'll receive a secure link - no account needed
Each person gets a unique, one-time use link
Option 2: Shared Link
Generate a shareable link for your team
Set a response limit (default: 5 responses)
Share via Slack, email, or any communication tool
Step 4: Monitor Responses
Track response rates in your dashboard
See how many people have responded (but not who)
Receive notifications as responses come in
Step 5: Review Your AI Summary
Once you receive at least 3 responses, we automatically generate an AI summary
The summary highlights themes and patterns
Individual responses are never shown - only aggregated insights
Regenerate your summary anytime as new responses arrive

SignalStep uses a credit system:
1 credit = 1 feedback response received
Free trial includes 3 credits
Credits are shared at the team level
AI summaries are included free with feedback collection
