After an amazing trip, it’s time to switch back to your main SIM card for local use. Here's how you can switch back to your primary SIM on both iOS and Android devices.
On iOS 📱
To stop using your eSIM on an iOS device and return to your main SIM, follow these steps:
Go to Settings on your iPhone. ⚙️
Tap on Cellular (or Mobile Data). 📡
Tap on the eSIM you’ve been using.
Toggle the switch to turn off the line for your eSIM.
Your iPhone will now revert to using your main SIM for all calls, texts, and data.
On Android 📱
If you're using an Android device, here's how to turn off your eSIM and switch back to your main SIM:
Go to Settings on your Android device. ⚙️
Tap on Connections in the settings menu. 📡
Tap on SIM Manager (or SIM Card Manager). 💳
Toggle the switch to turn off the eSIM you’ve been using.
Once the eSIM is turned off, your Android phone will automatically use your main SIM for network services.
By turning off your eSIM, you ensure that your device switches back to your main SIM, helping you avoid any roaming charges or unexpected data usage.
