If you’ve purchased and installed an eSIM on your Android device but it’s not working as expected, don't worry! Here are a few simple troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve the issue and get your eSIM up and running.
Troubleshooting Steps 🔧
Make Sure Your eSIM is On:
Open the Settings app on your Android device. ⚙️
Go to Connections > SIM Manager.
Ensure that your eSIM is toggled on.
On the same page, Make sure your eSIM is selected under Cellular Data. Also ensure that "Data switching" is off to avoid extra charges.
Enable Data Roaming:
Go to Connections > Mobile Networks.
Ensure Data Roaming is turned on. 🌍
Select the Correct Network:
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Operators.
Turn off Select Automatically and choose the correct network manually by referring to the Simly app for compatible networks in your region.

Set up APN Settings (for 1GLOBAL & EDGE Mobile eSIMs):
If you see 1GLOBAL under your eSIM:
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names (APN).
Press Add (or the + icon), then type "truphone.com" in both Name and APN fields.
Tap the three dots at the top right to Save.
If you see EDGE Mobile under your eSIM:
Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names (APN).
Press Add (or the + icon), then type "globaldata" in both Name and APN fields.
Tap the three dots at the top right to Save.
