When a broker uses your Loanapp to submit an application to you, you will receive the application 'from' the broker. The Application owner will be the broker.

As a Mortgage Manager, if you are x-channel submitting this application across to a funder, you need to ensure that you update the current coordinator (re-allocate) this submission, to someone in your own team.

This will mean that when you promote the application to your Funder, the Funder will know the submission has come from (belongs to) you.

This article takes you through how to add this detail.

When a broker submits - the owner will be the broker

When a broker submits an application to you, the 'owner' of the application will be the broker eg:

Update the owner to be someone on your team

To update the application owner, open Loanapp for this record , and on the Setup page, you will see the "Management Participants" section:

ADD a Management Participant

You should now ADD a participant to the application. To do this, click ADD:

You will then be able to add someone from your team, and make them the Current Coordinator:

⚠️Make sure you tick current coordinator

When you go back to your Application grid, this application will now 'belong' to the person on your team.

This will mean that when you x-channel submit to your Funder, your entity will be the submitting entity (and not the brokers); and also, the Funder will know who to send any messages.
